Fort Lauderdale – Venetian Pool
The Venetian Pool is a public swimming pool in Coral Gables. Carved from a rock quarry, this beautiful and unique pool dates back to the year of 1924. One of the only pool to be included in National Register of Historic Places, The Venetian Pool is also one of the largest freshwater pools in the United States which are fed 820,000 gallons of spring water from an underground aquifer. The pool is beautified by two waterfalls that make for a picturesque backdrop. The man-made caves in the swimming pool add up to the fun of swimming in the large water body. The palm trees and the sunbathing sandy area accentuates the charm of this Venetian-style place. It is an absolute wonder and a classic summer destination to unwind yourself and spend some pleasant time.
